About David A. Keightly, Sr.
Dave has been a lawyer since 1984. He joined the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office in 1987 and quickly earned promotions, serving as Chief of the Pretrial Division.
He was elected Magisterial District Judge in 1993 and was reelected in 1999 and 2005. In accordance with Pennsylvania law, Dave continued to practice law during his commission as a Judge. He has handled a wide variety of matters in his private practice.
Dave is now practicing both criminal and civil law full-time at his private law practice, Keightly Law Offices.

Sports
During the baseball season, Dave checks MLB.com all the time for scores, news, and best of all, statistics, which you can sort and search, particularly keeping an eye on the Philly teams.
Penn State football is another great interest of Dave's. I've loved it since I was a little kid, probably because both of my parents went to school there, or because my wife and I met there, or because my son Dave, Jr. went there and graduated in December, 2008, or my son Derek went there and graduated in 2015. My boys and I went so far as to go to Tampa for the Outback Bowl on January 1, 2007. What a blast! ~Dave
Golf
Dave was fortunate to be able to write for a local newspaper, The Reporter, from 1998 to 2002. This part time job gave him the opportunity to meet such luminaries as George Herbert Walker Bush, Bill Clinton, Tom Ridge, and Dan Quayle. He also had the the opportunity to speak to many of the world's best golfers, such as Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, John Daly, Greg Norman, and many others. Dave was fortunate enough to play such great tracks as Saucon Valley, Cave's Valley, Waynesboro, Manufacturer's, and TPC Jasna Polana, near Princeton.
Community
Dave has lived, worked, and been dedicated to Montgomery County for his entire career. He’s shared his knowledge by lecturing and drafting materials for many educational programs. He’s also a member of the North Penn Chamber of Commerce and coached little league for many years. Additionally, his law practice supports many local recreational and school athletic organizations.
